Hogue well known for the gun grips has ventured into the knife world. Their first offering the EX01 Tactical Folding Knife from their Extreme Series is a rock solid entry.

Although the Extreme series features a button lock mechanism this is a manual knife. The Extreme series is designed by Allen Elishewitz. The knives look good they are comfortable and the function & action is beyond reproach.

The black G-10 handle features a pattern the creators call ""G-mascus"" (G-10 & Damascus). The front of the handle has piranha texture for a better grip. The drop point style 154-CM stone-wash finished blade (plain) is razor sharp. The blade comes out with a refined smoothness and locks securley into place via the button lock mechanism. There is also a front mounted safety to lock the blade open even more securely. For easy carry there is also reversible pocket clip.
