"The green button Alpha-Tec S.A.R. 5 LED Flashlight from Extreme Beam is a durable high-intensity ""Strategic Aeronautical Reconnaissance"" illumination device. Compact but with a powerful white spot beam the S.A.R. 5 measures just over 3"" long but provides 3500LUX at 3.2' (1 m) and can throw as far as 450' (137 m). It is powered by 3.0 V or 4.2 V batteries.

The LED housing has a smooth aluminum light reflector to maximize the lamp's illumination intensity and an impact-resistant glass lens and high-density aluminum alloy housing provide durability. It is waterproof to 6.6' (2 m). A recessed tailcap activation switch integrated belt clip and knurled body make the S.A.R. 5 a compact full-featured single-output flashlight for a wide range of applications.

Included with the flashlight are two non-rechargeable batteries and the EB-YB-A03 SAR Holster.
